In this case, the majority of of people did it in third, because of its lower cost, granting him the popular character to this means of transport. The the value of the ticket made a social difference, which according to income, gave them access to travel in first, second and third class. The trip along the road established a relationship between different social groups, which, used this medium of transportation, to school, the workplace, and on vacation. ![]() This research is framed within the epistemological parameters of social history, centred on the stories of the people who travelled, by the San Fernando branch to Pichilemu.
